While marches against racism are held across the nation, the president of “Empresa Brasileira de Comunicações” – “EBC” Mr. “Laerte Rimoli” made racist remarks against famous Black actrees “Taís Araújo”. His remarks were repudiated by the public.

Brazilian actor “Pedro Cardoso” refused to be interviewed by “EBC” in solidarity to the Black actrees and to the workers’ strike that was happening at that moment. “EBC” is a public company whose president is appointed by President Michel Temer.
